Plato's plate was plushed with pinnacles
who would notice the wriggling sandflies on the seashore?
but he whistles a tune on the moonlit summer's night
that breathes the soft tunic soiree of mon a mie to her death

The Strings of Silence

Listening
reason starts to float into
the ballads of dancing notes
played on strings of forgotten resting place
brothers of dangling sparks of firewood
clings wistfully on brooks of spring
Yonder, lies bedtime stories
distant bells that chime of worries
that sink into immortal remembrance
Fading

Awaiting the End

time, refuses to go any faster
like an old battered snail
on the upslope to everest
sinking its fangs into my skin
with every micrometre it trods

Blemished Blasphemy

Blaming the black bleak sky
For taunting us with rain
Reinserting irrational bullshit
Into the red rusty rumours of yore
Colouring the crimson crowns of creased crutches
In the windows of mentality
Freeing the forceful fiery frost of the gruelling gambles
In eternity’s redefined predisposition
Aimless extrapolations juxtaposed with torn tenacity in premature perceptions
Cling on to mortality

The Road Not Taken
by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth; 5

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same, 10

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back. 15

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference. 20

Waves

They sing nature's endless symphony
Sometimes in call and response
Sometimes in echo to they own reassuring ballads
Sometimes in a luscious and dramatic chorus
Belting out in joyous harmonies
The multitude of earth's timeless magnificence

feel the tendons of time creeping
beneath the bedsheets of anxiety
as the dawn awaits
to throw her daggers of light
on the earth
winter fades
seeping slowly into spring

LasT GoodByE
by Angel Light

People come and go,
but I've never met anyone like u so...
U were there when I was low...
But u pulled me up and help me row...

The little help u give...
Are slowly accumulated into a hive...
Though Goodbye comes as sharp as a knife...
Its the last goodbye that makes it sad...

U've made footprints in my heart...
A beautiful piece of art...
I will remember u always...
Even if we go our separate ways...

Everything so quiet, so silent...
Nothing is going to be the same...
But partings are part of life...
so, I bid u farewell...
And in whatever u do,
smile!
Cuz,
itz the thing that makes the world brighter...
All is quiet
only the low hum of the old grandfather clock in the hall
reminds me of the reality I'm in
Other than that,
My mind is floating on the silence that surrounds
Basking in its retreat from the world of time and space
Like nymphs of Uranus
Willowing and writhing like snake
Peeping into the weaning luminance of the subconscious

Haiku

On this Christmas morn
Dewdrops came again like frost
Framing my window

twilight tingle

reaching out for the lush low land of midnight whispers
only to find the tinkling tremors of wanton hearts
shouting silently
awaiting the sunrise of wrenching worrying waters
which drown the castles of clouds in raindrop bubbles
hush
the bedtime jingle rings lowly
goodnight

incessant dire frenzy

The strings of remembrance fell loose in a whirlpool of fancies
Precepts of warped cravings hang on a thread
Canons of bullshit fill the long walks of the pinnacles of balderdesh
Leaving no air unstained and no rooms untainted of the
Dry withering sunsets of our fading universe
